Quo Vadis – IIFT Delhi

Delhi would be seeing another of its amazing college fest later in January as IIFT, Delhi prepares itself to organize their annual cultural and management festival Quo Vadis. The theme for this year’s Quo Vadis is “Perspire to Aspire”. Months of preparation and perspiration would come to an end as this year’s Quo Vadis kicks off on the 24th of January. The three-day-long festival would see participation from various B-schools in and around Delhi NCR and from all across the country. Throughout the festival, there would be various events under the gambit of cultural and management teams.

The festival would start with the regional qualifiers for Hip Hop International, a prestigious dance event that would serve as the gateway for the best dance groups to represent India in the Hip-Hop International World Championship. Raaga, the solo singing competition starts on the day 1 of fest too, seeing participation from all across the country, the fest attracts some of the best talents in the region for the coveted title. The flagship event of Quo Vadis, Shastra, a 72-hour long test of wit and endurance for the best Manager in the country would also start on the 24th of January. In continuation of the cultural events, Quo Vadis would also conduct events across various management pillars, the prelims for which has already started. As the campus prepares itself for day 2, first day ends as soulful Indie- pop band “When Chai Met Toast” takes on the stage of IIFT.

The fest would continue on 25th of January with events like Nukkad Natak, the street play competition, Ramp Burn, the haute couture competition with participation from various fashion societies across the region, Campus Princess, the road to Miss India 2020 and comedy night, which would be followed by performances from Comicstaan season 1 winner Nishant Suri and Anubhav Singh Bassi.

On the final day, Nukkad Natak will continue to its final round, with Battle of Bands, the high voltage rock band performances from the best bands across Delhi NCR. Putting an end to three days of non stop rush of adrenaline and cut throat competition, this year to set the stage on fire would be bollywood sensation Benny Dayal with his band Funktuation. A fest which has seen performances from the likes of Mohit Chauhan, The Local Train, Jubin Nautiyal, Vishal Shekhar, Abish Mathew, Rahul Subramanian this year’s line up guarantees a run for your money. All through the three days lookout for “Ambrosia”, the food festival at Quo Vadis, with the delicacies from all across the capital.

If tradition is anything to go by, Quo Vadis this year should prove to be one of the best festivals in and around Delhi.
